In case you forget to write a custom HTML title and meta tags for any content item, SerrBizSEF will automatically create UNIQUE meta data for everything based on the title alias, category and section.
Now ALL SECTIONS and CATEGORY pages can have META DATA, including the HOMEPAGE!
Important Note: Be sure to activate the SerrBizSEF Custom TAGS module in an ACTIVE postion of your template such as FOOTER. Also, activate the SerrBiz Social Bookmark module and include it in your FOOTER. These two modules ASSURE that your title and meta data are inlcuded in the HEAD and BODY of each page. This is GOOD SEO.
- Eliminate / Reduce Duplicate URLS
This a huge problem with Joomla and other SEF extensions. Search engines HATE duplicate content. SerrBizSEF eliminates, or reduces, this problem significantly by following the simple idea that one content item should have ONE SEF.
*3rd party extensions not designed to work with SerrBizSEF may require advance customization to elimiate duplicate URLS.
- Robot Index Tag
Such a simple thing, yet it was forgotten in the default Joomla. By default, SerrBizSEF includes the robot index/follow tag in all pages. If you want to turn off this tag you can.
- 301 Redirects- Automapping
If you have been using the default JOOMLA SEF, all OLD SEFs will be 301 redirected to your new SerrBizSEF. This helps preserve your current rankings and PR.
If a dynamic URL is called it will 301 redirect to your new SeffBizSEF. This is GOOD SEO.
- Custom Error Page
With SerrBizSEF you can create and define a custom error page.
- Social Bookmark Module
Included in the package is the SerrBiz Social bookmark module which allows users to add your site to popular social bookmark sites. This is good for SEO.
